The City Rights Radio podcast is brought to you by a social activist group of undocumented citizens of Amsterdam. In our podcast episodes, our voices are shared, political issues are discussed and talks are held with our allies.

In the first season of City Rights Radio, we focus our attention on the City ID card. Taking inspiration from New York and San Francisco, we are exploring the possibilities an Amsterdam City ID could bring in the future. Protection from the police, possibilities to open a bank account, access to healthcare, libraries and gyms are among a few things we hope a City ID card could bring us.

In the second season of this podcast, we share the reality of living as undocumented people in Amsterdam. We discuss who we are, the obstacles we encounter living as undocumented person in the Netherlands, and talk to people from initiatives that challenge the status quo.
City Rights Radio is hosted by Mohamed Bah. He is an activist, living in Amsterdam. He is currently still undocumented and actively challenges the position he is put in.

De podcast City Rights Radio wordt gemaakt door een sociaal-activistische groep ongedocumenteerde inwoners van Amsterdam. In verschillende podcast afleveringen delen wij onze stem, bespreken we politieke zaken, en worden gesprekken gehouden met onze bondgenoten.

In het eerste seizoen van City Rights Radio, richten wij ons op de City ID kaart. We halen inspiratie uit de ID-kaarten uit New York en San Francisco, en onderzoeken mogelijkheden om een Amsterdam City ID te implementeren in de toekomst. Belangrijke onderwerpen waar de ID kaart op in kan spelen zijn onder andere bescherming tegen de politie, het openen van een bankrekening en toegang tot gezondheidszorg, bibliotheken en sportscholen.

In het tweede seizoen van de podcast, delen we de realiteit van het leven als ongedocumenteerd persoon in Amsterdam. We bespreken wie we zijn, de belemmeringen die wij tegenkomen in leven als ongedocumenteerd persoon in Nederland, en spreken met mensen van initiatieven die de status quo betwisten.

De podcast host van City RIghts Radio is Mohamed Bah. Hij is activist en woont in Amsterdam. Hij is momenteel nog ongedocumenteerd, en spreekt uit tegen de positie waar hij in wordt geplaatst.
